2012 Polk County Minority Vendor Day Conference | Business
Lakeland, Florida -- On Wednesday, July 27, Polk County will hold its 2012 Polk County Minority Vendor Day Conference.
For the past three years, the county has brought together businesses and governmental institutions from all areas of central Florida together to discuss business ideas, issues and solutions with the goal of helping small minority and woman owned businesses grow their companies.
The conference will hold discussions on Business Finance, Human Resources best practices and other topics that effect both large and small businesses every day. The roundtable discussion will include speakers from Office Depot, Polk State College and Orange County Utilities.
Attendees will learn from companies, government agencies and W/MBE businesses proven strategies for success.
The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Polk State College in the Lakeland Technology Building, room LTB 1100.
