Man accused of molesting child family member | Crime

Bartow, Florida -- A Bartow man was arrested Monday after his family learned he had been molesting a child in the family.

According to Bartow Police Department, on April 16, family members contacted police after they learned 69-year-old Robert Droz had been "inappropriately" touching a child family member.

During an interview with a detective and the Child Protection Team, the girl told them Droz had been touching her for about a year.

Droz was later contacted at his home in Bartow and agreed to questioning. During the interview, detectives say Droz admitted to "inappropriate touching".

Droz was arrested and charged with Lewd Molestation on a Child under the age of 12.
