Sierra Club to hold workshop during next meeting | Environment

Lakeland, Florida-- The Sierra Club's next meeting will present an award winning documentary about plastic and the effects it has on our lives.

The meeting takes place on Thursday, July 12 from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. at Polk's Nature Discovery Center

A recent release said the following of the workshop:

The Award Winning (& Amusing) Documentary BAGIT will be shown. The Documentary explores the effects of plastics in our lives and includes the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

This is a film you will not want to miss! 

Program starts at 7:15 - covered dish dinner at 6:30 (if you wish to participate, bring a dish to share, your drink and utensils.)

The presentation topic is conservation related.
