SR 60 reopens in Bartow after truck spills load | News

Bartow, Florida -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office says SR 60 west of Bartow has reopened to traffic after a truck dumped its load of gravel Tuesday afternoon.

Around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies warned motorists of the closure, approximately 5 miles west of Bartow, of one lane in both directions after a gravel truck with a full load suffered a tire blowout and fell onto its side covering the roadway with gravel.

There were no injuries or other vehicles involved.
