Sheriff Grady Judd earns award for fight against sex predators | News

Winter Haven, Florida -- The annual Junny Award will be presented to Sheriff Grady Judd at the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The Board of Directors of P.O.C. selected Sheriff Judd in recognition of the outstanding work done by the P.C.S.O. Cyber Crimes Unit during 2010.
Using a variety of innovative Internet-based investigative techniques, Judd's investigators apprehended 109 suspected sex predators during the year.
The award honors a Floridian whose actions in the previous year advanced the American movement for child protection.
The award will be presented to Sheriff Judd by Junny and Vicki Rios-Martinez: parents of the child for whom the award is named on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Polk County Sheriff's Office on Jim Keene Boulevard in Winter Haven at 10:30 a.m.
